Mid-Level Hospitality Designer

About the role

Gensler is seeking a mid‑level Hospitality Designer to support the Design Director in shaping meaningful, culturally‑responsive environments. You will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop concepts that balance beauty and functionality for hospitality projects.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Design Director and Senior Designer in creating overall design concepts.
• Formulate design presentation strategies and lead multiple design teams through all project phases.
• Collaborate on programming, strategy, conceptual, schematic, design development, space planning, and construction documentation.
• Coordinate with consultants, product representatives, furniture dealers, contractors, and vendors.
• Produce plans, elevations, details, specifications, material selections, and finish plans.
• Communicate design ideas clearly to project teams and clients.
• Support office culture, manage client expectations, and maintain productive relationships.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Architecture; licensed or registered architect.
• 5+ years of architectural design experience on medium to large‑scale projects.
• 5+ years of project experience within an architectural practice.
• 100% bilingual in English and Spanish with excellent written and verbal communication.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and graphic communication abilities.
