Operations Manager

About the role

The Operations Manager will lead production, maintenance, logistics and quality activities at our chemical plant in Zona Franca Rionegro. Reporting to the Country Manager, you will ensure that the plant meets its short‑, medium‑ and long‑term objectives while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in defining business strategies and production plans.
• Coordinate maintenance, logistics, production and quality‑control activities to meet scheduled timelines.
• Develop and propose production plans based on plant availability and commercial needs.
• Identify and acquire resources required for production, including training and re‑qualification.
• Drive process improvement and plant modifications, ensuring implementation of approved investments.
• Guarantee timely and effective plant maintenance.
• Monitor production volumes, costs and timelines, updating plans periodically.
• Motivate and manage the human resources of the dependent structure to achieve high performance.

Required profile

• University degree in Chemical Engineering or related field, or a high‑school diploma with relevant specializations.
• Minimum 5 years of industrial experience in chemical product manufacturing.
• Strong teamwork attitude and managerial skills.
• Good command of English.

• Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite.
