About the role
We are seeking a detail‑oriented Paralegal to work directly with a U.S. attorney on a remote, full‑time basis. The role involves reviewing case records, identifying key facts and legal issues, and drafting first‑draft legal memoranda for attorney review.
Key responsibilities
- Review case files, medical records, and other legal documents to extract relevant information.
- Identify important facts, legal issues, and supporting evidence, and summarize them into clear, organized notes.
- Prepare first‑draft legal memoranda (approximately 10 pages) and revise them based on attorney feedback.
- Maintain organized case information, manage deadlines, and anticipate the attorney’s needs proactively.
Required profile
- Strong legal research, writing, and analytical abilities.
- Experience reviewing and summarizing legal or medical records.
- Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision over time.
Required skills
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Proactive, dependable, and capable of taking ownership of assignments.
