Pipeline & Portfolio Execution Field Associate

About the role

The Pipeline & Portfolio Execution Field Associate supports Whole Foods Market stores during new openings, relocations, reflows and other portfolio projects. This role provides on‑site operational readiness, coordinates communications, escalates issues and ensures compliance with policies across the United States, and potentially the United Kingdom and Canada.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver and support on‑site operational readiness and execution for pipeline and portfolio projects.
• Ensure completion of operational activities during department set‑up and store footprint merchandising.
• Audit and coach stores on operational compliance, identify root causes of non‑compliance and support mitigation.
• Facilitate timely resolution of operational issues in collaboration with the PPE Process Manager.
• Communicate and escalate recurring business‑critical errors to the PPE Team Leader.
• Attend cross‑functional coordination calls and provide coaching to Team Leaders during project‑specific trainings.
• Consult with Executive Leadership Operations on sister‑store support and team‑member development opportunities.
• Participate in Learn & Adjust mechanisms to identify and apply enhancement strategies.
• Develop or coordinate audience‑specific tools and resources to support operational teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) with 4‑6 years of relevant experience.
• Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Willingness to travel up to 90% of the time across the US and potentially the UK and Canada.
• Demonstrated knowledge of specialty areas such as coffee, tea, produce, bakery, etc.
