Procurement Business Partner – Colombia & Argentina

About the role

Amgen is seeking a Procurement Business Partner to support its operations in Colombia and Argentina. The role combines country‑level procurement partnership with regional category leadership, acting as the primary procurement liaison for country leadership teams and key functional stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted procurement advisor to country leadership, ensuring strategies align with business objectives.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with commercial, finance, and functional leaders to position procurement as a strategic partner.
• Translate business priorities into actionable procurement initiatives that deliver cost optimisation, supplier‑led innovation, risk mitigation and operational efficiency.
• Contribute as a Regional Category Champion for a defined indirect spend category, collaborating with Global Category Leads and bringing regional market insights into category strategies.
• Drive cross‑country alignment and identify value‑creation opportunities across the region.

Required profile

• Proven experience in procurement or supply‑chain business partnering, preferably within a multinational environment.
• Strong understanding of the Colombian and Argentine markets and regulatory landscape.
• Excellent stakeholder‑engagement and communication skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders.
• Strategic mindset with a focus on delivering measurable value.
