Product Manager, Payments & Settlement

About the role

Mastercard’s Corporate Treasury team is looking for a Senior Product Manager to lead the development and enhancement of settlement services across its core network. The role will drive real‑time payment initiatives and create innovative settlement products that support customers worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze, design and implement enhancements to settlement services and Treasury capabilities.
• Collaborate with business units, product and technology teams to define requirements and deliver settlement solutions.
• Lead cross‑functional projects from planning through execution, ensuring scope, timelines and objectives are met.
• Conduct financial, operational, regulatory and system impact analyses.
• Prepare leadership materials, communicate findings, risks and recommendations.
• Translate business needs into clear requirements and actionable implementation plans.
• Coordinate with Technology teams to ensure proper documentation and implementation.
• Identify risks, assess impacts and develop mitigation strategies for settlement services.
• Manage project workstreams, track progress, maintain documentation and ensure timely delivery.
• Support initiatives related to payment modernization, real‑time payments and emerging settlement capabilities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering or a related field.
• Experience in payments, banking, treasury, settlement or broader financial services environments.
• Proven track record of leading cross‑functional initiatives or projects.
• Analytical, detail‑oriented and comfortable managing complex stakeholder relationships.
