Project Control Manager – Structural Steel Detailing

About the role

The Project Control Manager oversees commercial and operational controls for structural steel detailing and connection design projects. Reporting to the Director of Project Control, the role ensures projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet client expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and maintain project schedules, monitor milestones, and mitigate schedule risks.
• Develop and track project budgets, cost projections, and productivity metrics.
• Allocate resources across projects, balance workloads, and support capacity planning.
• Serve as primary client contact, lead kickoff meetings, manage scope changes, and communicate status updates.
• Lead Project Support Technicians, ensure document tracking, billing support, and drive process improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or related field.
• 3‑5 years of experience in project management, project control, or operations within construction or engineering.
• Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, and client relationships.
