Project Management (Project Administrator)

About the role

Hitachi Energy is seeking a Project Manager to lead complex energy projects from initiation to delivery. You will ensure projects meet contractual commitments while upholding the highest standards of safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and lead project planning and execution meetings, track progress and report updates.
• Evaluate and manage risks and opportunities to protect the company and improve outcomes.
• Oversee engineering, assembly, testing and commissioning activities.
• Negotiate additional work and claims with customers, suppliers and contractors.
• Monitor procurement, manage budgets, and deliver financial and cost reports.
• Control costs, scope, forecasts, cash flow and accounts receivable.
• Manage communications with customers, internal teams, auditors, suppliers and contractors.
• Ensure compliance with contractual, regulatory and internal standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering or Business Administration.
• Minimum 3 years of project management experience.
• Strong knowledge of engineering fundamentals and project proposals.
• Advanced English proficiency.

Required skills

• Proficiency with project management software (e.g., MS Project).
• Experience using ERP systems and financial analysis tools.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 50001 and ISO 45001 standards.
