Project Manager – Rebar Supply & Manufacturing

About the role
Turia GBS is looking for a Project Manager to lead the full life‑cycle of rebar supply and manufacturing projects. You will act as the main liaison between the client and internal teams, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and with the correct tonnage.
Key responsibilities
- Initiate projects, establish client contacts, define start dates, sequences and major milestones.
- Track and monitor detailed, released and shipped tonnage for each project.
- Maintain scope alignment, document deviations and manage change requests.
- Develop weekly plans and four‑week forecasts covering detailing and manufacturing needs.
- Produce weekly “Snapshot” status reports with material shipments, upcoming releases and open risks.
- Control tonnage balance, flag schedule or balance risks promptly.
- Coordinate detailing, manufacturing and shipment scheduling with the Plant Manager.
- Serve as the primary client point of contact throughout the project lifecycle.
- Investigate client‑reported discrepancies using barcodes, dispatch records, ERP data and project documents.
- Issue formal progress reports at 67 % and 100 % completion for projects over 160 tons.
- Support project closure, track outstanding items and provide data for post‑project reviews.
Required profile
- Degree in Civil, Mechanical, Metallurgical, Production Engineering or a related field.
- English level B2 +.
- Minimum 5 years experience managing construction projects, preferably with concrete and reinforcing‑steel structures.
- Understanding of structural typologies and construction sequences (piles, pier caps, grade beams, slabs, walls, double‑layer reinforcement, etc.).
Required skills
- Proficiency with BIM viewers such as Revit and Navisworks.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and barcode tracking.
- Knowledge of standards: ACI 318, CRSI Standard Practice Manual, ASTM A615/A706/A955 (or regional equivalents).
