Project Manager – Software Consulting

About the role

NextLink Labs is seeking a Project Manager to lead client engagements in its consulting practice. You will own projects from kickoff through closeout, ensuring they stay on time, on scope, and on budget while delivering exceptional client experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end client engagements, coordinating kickoff, planning, delivery cadence, and closeout.
• Develop detailed project plans covering scope, timelines, resources, and budget aligned with the Statement of Work.
• Manage scope changes, negotiate discrepancies, and handle change orders.
• Track budget, forecast burn, provide time‑tracking inputs, and coordinate invoicing.
• Serve as the day‑to‑day client contact, building trust, managing expectations, and escalating issues when needed.
• Identify growth opportunities and contribute to the broader PM practice through process improvements, templates, and mentorship.

Required profile

• Proven project management experience in software or technology consulting.
• Strong organizational rigor and customer‑obsession developed in a professional services environment.
• Ability to manage risk, issues, and stakeholder communication effectively.
• Experience working with agile, scrum, or hybrid delivery methodologies.
