Python Software Engineer

About the role

Wizeline is looking for a Python Software Engineer who can quickly turn high‑level product ideas into working backend solutions. You will work with modern AI‑assisted development tools to accelerate coding, refactoring, and migrations while delivering fast, practical features.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain backend services using Python and frameworks such as FastAPI.
• Translate high‑level business requirements into functional technical solutions.
• Leverage AI‑assisted coding tools (e.g., Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Claude Code) to speed up development workflows.
• Adapt rapidly to new codebases, frameworks, and system architectures.
• Build, iterate, and ship features with a focus on speed and practicality.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver solutions under evolving requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
• 5+ years of progressive software engineering experience, including 1‑2 years in a lead or leadership role.
• Strong proficiency in Python and backend development (FastAPI or similar).
• Solid understanding of APIs, databases, and basic system design.
• Proven ability to learn new technologies and frameworks quickly.
• Experience using AI‑assisted coding tools to accelerate development.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and comfort working in fast‑changing, ambiguous environments.
• Experience with micro‑services and API development.
