Quality Analyst – Risk and Controls

About the role

The Quality Analyst, Risk and Controls, is an individual contributor responsible for first‑line risk governance, supervision of business controls, and data‑driven insights to strengthen Visa’s control environment. The role works closely with the Client Care leadership team and cross‑functional partners to identify, assess, and remediate control weaknesses.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct risk workshops and assessments across the organization.
• Supervise established business controls, perform root‑cause analyses, and coordinate testing activities.
• Lead performance business reviews for the Client Care leadership team.
• Compile, analyze, and deliver regular risk and control reports to senior leadership.
• Manage related projects, delegate tasks, and prioritize multiple ongoing activities.
• Advise senior management on control environment status and escalation of findings.
• Ensure risks are identified, measured, monitored, and controlled in line with policies.

Required profile

• Minimum six years of experience in a banking customer‑service environment (card issuing, merchant acquiring, or back‑office).
• Strong expertise in risk assessment, control self‑assessment, and audit processes.
• Proven ability to work in a hybrid setting with at least three days on‑site per week.

Required skills

• PowerBI for data visualization and reporting.
• Data analytics, statistical analysis, and database management.
