Quality Inspector

About the role

Vantive is seeking a Quality Inspector to ensure that finished products and biomedical equipment meet the manufacturer’s quality specifications. The role involves inspecting incoming, returned, and stored items, documenting findings, and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform technical inspection and segregation of finished products and biomedical equipment from customer returns or transport, creating documented records.
• Conduct initial inspection of imported or locally sourced products using statistical sampling and acceptance criteria to verify compliance with original manufacturer quality attributes.
• Identify and segregate damaged products or equipment during the inspection process.
• Monitor special storage areas to ensure proper storage conditions and verify correct product identification.

Required profile

• Knowledge of regulations governing pharmaceutical product handling.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Familiarity with quality management systems.
• At least 6 months of experience in quality assurance within a wholesale pharmaceutical distribution environment.
