Regional Supply Chain Operations Director, LAC - Colombia

About the role

The Regional Supply Chain Operations Director (RSCOD) leads Mercy Corps’ supply chain activities across the Latin America and Caribbean (LAC) region, ensuring cost‑effective, timely, and high‑quality program delivery. Working closely with regional and country teams, the RSCOD develops strategies that enhance operational capabilities, compliance, and efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with regional and country program teams to design supply chain strategies that improve effectiveness and compliance.
• Partner with Mercy Corps Compliance and Legal to ensure contracting practices meet donor requirements and mitigate risk.
• Conduct SWOT analyses of regional and country supply chain functions and develop action plans with Global Procurement and local staff.
• Monitor and act on globally defined Supply Chain KPIs for countries within the assigned region.
• Provide expert guidance on market dynamics and support country teams with procurement and related functions.

Required profile

• Proven experience in supply chain, procurement, or logistics within a regional or multi‑country context.
• Strong analytical skills to assess market conditions and operational performance.
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders, including program, compliance, and legal teams.
• Excellent communication skills and fluency in English; Spanish proficiency is a plus.
