Remote Atlassian Administrator (Cloud)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Atlassian Administrator to manage, optimize, and continuously improve our Atlassian Cloud ecosystem. This fully remote position will ensure Jira Software, Confluence, and Jira Service Management support our business processes and operational goals.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and maintain Atlassian Cloud products (Jira Software, Confluence, JSM).
• Configure projects, issue types, custom fields, screens, workflows, permission and notification schemes.
• Create and manage Confluence spaces, templates, and knowledge‑sharing structures.
• Design and optimize JSM portals, request types, queues, and ITSM workflows.
• Develop advanced automations using Automation for Jira, ScriptRunner (Groovy), and Atlassian APIs.
• Integrate Atlassian tools with Okta, Azure AD, DevOps platforms, and other third‑party systems.
• Administer user access, groups, permissions, and SSO configurations; conduct access reviews.
• Monitor performance, troubleshoot incidents, and manage Marketplace apps.
• Provide technical support, create documentation, and deliver training to end users.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, IT or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of hands‑on Atlassian administration in enterprise environments.
• Proven experience with Jira Software, Confluence, and Jira Service Management Cloud.
