About the role

We are seeking a remote Biology Educator to design and solve challenging biology problems that will be used to evaluate large language models. This short‑term contract role involves creating clear, step‑by‑step solutions and collaborating with LLM researchers.

Key responsibilities

Design and solve biology problems for LLM evaluation benchmarks.
Develop detailed, step‑by‑step solutions with thorough reasoning.
Collaborate with researchers on evaluation benchmarks and reasoning tasks.
Help define new benchmarks covering undergraduate to PhD‑level biology.
Analyze complex biological problems using logical, structured approaches.
Explain biology concepts clearly using simple language, visuals, and simulations when needed.

Required profile

Master’s, Ph.D., or currently pursuing a Ph.D./Postdoctoral degree in Biology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, or related fields.
Strong research and analytical skills.
Creative and lateral thinking abilities.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills in a remote environment.

What we offer

$450 per approved task.
11‑week contract with 8 hours per day (including 4 hours overlap with PST).
Fully remote work arrangement.
