Remote Bookkeeper (US Accounting)

About the role

Angel City VA is seeking a detail‑oriented Bookkeeper to join its virtual assistant team. This remote position supports US‑based clients, handling financial records and reporting while working night shifts aligned with Manila time.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and maintain financial records, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Process and reconcile financial transactions and ensure accuracy in financial statements.
• Prepare and submit regular financial reports, summaries, and analysis to clients.
• Handle bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow.
• Assist clients in budgeting and financial planning.
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to ensure compliance with tax regulations.
• Help clients streamline financial processes and improve overall efficiency.
• Provide support and guidance to clients on financial matters.

Required profile

• 1+ years of proven experience in US bookkeeping and accounting roles.
• Comfortable working a graveyard shift (Manila time) on a full‑time basis.
• Proficient in QuickBooks.
• Holding an Accounting degree.
• Excellent understanding of financial statements, balance sheets, and income statements.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial record keeping.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a remote setting.
