Remote Financial Controller (US Multi-Entity)

About the role

EXP Group is looking for an experienced Controller to lead accounting and financial reporting for its multi‑state, multi‑entity U.S. business. The position is fully remote and reports directly to the CFO, providing the numbers that drive strategic decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Own the monthly, quarterly and annual close process.
• Prepare consolidated financial statements and management reports for entities in NJ, NY and TX.
• Manage AP/AR, general ledger and account reconciliations to an audit‑ready standard.
• Oversee cash‑flow forecasting and working‑capital reporting.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis alongside the CFO.
• Strengthen internal controls, accounting policies and audit readiness.
• Partner with HR/payroll on labor‑cost reporting and compliance.
• Coordinate with external accountants, auditors and banking partners.

Required profile

• Based in Argentina or elsewhere in South America with a reliable remote‑work setup.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA / Contador Público preferred.
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including financial reporting, monthly close and consolidations.
• Proven experience reporting for U.S. companies and familiarity with US GAAP.
• Multi‑entity accounting experience; background in distribution, food/produce or logistics is a plus.
• Fully bilingual in English and Spanish with strong written English for leadership reporting.
• Self‑directed and effective working remotely with a lean U.S. team.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of US GAAP.
• Experience with ERP systems (general).
• Exposure to Rippling and SAP Concur.
