Remote Operational Finance Controller (LATAM)

About the role

Acquisition Lab Services is looking for a Remote Operational Finance Controller to oversee the full finance function for a portfolio of 7‑10 US‑based small businesses. This hands‑on role combines accounting, reporting and cash‑flow management, working directly with acquisition entrepreneurs and CEOs.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end accounting operations across multiple SMBs, including AR, AP and general ledger maintenance.
• Lead month‑end close, ensure accuracy of financial statements and prepare monthly reporting packages.
• Build and maintain KPI dashboards and perform variance analysis versus budget and prior periods.
• Manage cash‑flow visibility, create 13‑week forecasts and monitor liquidity to support operational sustainability.
• Act as finance partner to CEOs, communicating performance, risks and recommendations.
• Implement and maintain internal controls, ensure compliance with US GAAP and audit‑ready documentation.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in accounting, finance or controller roles.
• Proven ability to manage finance functions for multiple entities.
• Strong understanding of US GAAP and accounting best practices.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
