Restaurant365 Accounting Specialist

About the role

Our client, a growing multi‑location restaurant group, recently migrated from QuickBooks Online to Restaurant365. They need an experienced Accounting Specialist to own the platform, optimise processes, train staff and ensure accurate financial and operational reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the internal Restaurant365 expert, review the current setup and resolve configuration gaps.
• Optimise chart of accounts, location structures, vendor setups and approval workflows.
• Manage daily accounting workflows, reconcile bank, credit‑card and vendor accounts, and support month‑end and year‑end close.
• Monitor inventory tracking, food‑cost reporting and improve inventory management within Restaurant365.
• Generate financial and operational reports, build dashboards and provide insights on labour, food costs and profitability.
• Train internal users, create SOPs, act as the primary point of contact and recommend process improvements.

Required profile

• 3+ years of hands‑on experience with Restaurant365.
• Background supporting multi‑location restaurants or hospitality groups.
• Strong understanding of restaurant accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Experience migrating or optimising systems from QuickBooks Online to Restaurant365 (preferred).
• Excellent communication, problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently.
