Roku Developer (Streaming & Entertainment)

About the role

Globant is looking for a Roku Developer to join its globally distributed teams working on streaming and entertainment projects. You will collaborate with experts who have built revolutionary solutions and contribute to large‑scale, high‑impact initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Roku applications using Brightscript and the Roku platform.
• Collaborate within agile pods that work directly with customers.
• Participate in code reviews, unit testing and continuous integration processes.
• Contribute to the design of scalable, high‑performance streaming experiences.

Required profile

• Advanced English communication skills.
• Proven experience with Roku development and Brightscript.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript.
• Hands‑on experience with npm or Yarn, Git and unit testing frameworks.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
