Rotating Routing Specialist (Dispatcher)

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented and proactive Routing & Logistics Specialist/Dispatcher to manage and optimise daily transportation and dispatch operations. The position starts with a part‑time training period and transitions to full‑time based on performance, with flexible shift schedules that may include evenings, nights and weekends.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor shipments, routes and delivery schedules in real time.
• Assign loads and communicate with drivers to ensure efficient operations.
• Track shipments and proactively resolve delays or disruptions.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, issues and operational updates.
• Collaborate with internal teams such as operations, planning and customer support.
• Optimise routes and resource allocation to improve efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures and logistics best practices.

Required profile

• Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
• Capability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills.
• Basic computer proficiency (Excel, tracking systems or similar tools).
• Availability for flexible shifts, including weekends or nights.
• Previous logistics, dispatch or transportation experience is a plus but not mandatory.
