About the role

As a Sea Logistics Operational Care Team Leader for Export, you will oversee a small team responsible for the end‑to‑end execution of sea freight import and export activities. You will ensure high‑quality service delivery, drive efficiency, and act as the primary escalation point for operational issues.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and support an operational team to execute sea freight import and export processes efficiently.
• Monitor performance through KPIs, identify bottlenecks and implement corrective actions.
• Provide daily visibility on team performance and act as first point of escalation for issues.
• Support onboarding, training, and implementation of new customers and processes.
• Maintain consistent communication with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, quality, and error reduction.
• Collaborate with process and systems teams to improve workflows and explore automation opportunities.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with carriers, suppliers, and logistics partners.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in International Business, Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in freight forwarding and sea logistics operations.
• Experience coordinating or leading small operational teams.
• Strong knowledge of import/export processes and international transportation.
• Solid understanding of logistics markets, carriers, and operational workflows.
• Experience in process improvement or operational optimization initiatives.
• Analytical and problem‑solving mindset with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Customer‑focused attitude with a proactive, adaptable approach.
• Intermediate to advanced English proficiency.
• Flexibility to support operational needs outside standard business hours.
