Seasonal Summer Camp Coach

About the role

KidStrong is seeking enthusiastic coaches to lead its seasonal summer camps for children aged 4‑9. You will deliver a curriculum that blends brain, physical, and character development while ensuring a safe, fun, and structured environment.

Key responsibilities

• Teach the KidStrong curriculum to groups of up to 20 children.
• Maintain camp schedule, attendance records, and cleanliness of the facility.
• Demonstrate and supervise exercises, ensuring proper technique.
• Communicate with parents/guardians about any incidents or progress.
• Use the KS Coach’s App to log attendance, awards, and other data.
• Collaborate with team members via Slack and complete required training on LearnUpon.

Required profile

• Background in athletics, coaching, or youth camp experience.
• Comfortable interacting with parents and handling incident reports.
• Ability to work physically demanding tasks, including lifting equipment up to 25 lb.
• Availability during typical camp hours (approximately 9 am‑2:30 pm) on school‑out days.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the KS Coach’s App.
• Experience using Slack for team communication.
• Completion of LearnUpon training modules.
