Security Solution Architect – DWS

About the role

The Pre‑Sales Security Solution Architect bridges sales teams and customers, designing tailored security solutions such as firewalls, EDR, SIEM and cloud security. The role drives technical presentations, demos and Proof of Concepts to support revenue targets while ensuring compliance with regional and federal regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Engage with prospects to gather requirements, analyse security risks and design customised security architectures.
• Deliver technical product demonstrations and manage Proof of Concepts to showcase solution value.
• Develop comprehensive security solutions including next‑gen firewalls, WAF, DLP, endpoint security, MDR, SIEM and AI‑for‑Security.
• Prepare technical proposals, respond to RFP/RFI and create commercial quotations in collaboration with sales.
• Act as a trusted technical advisor, building strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
• Stay current on emerging threats, industry trends and competitor offerings to refine technical positioning.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• 10‑12 years of experience in security technology pre‑sales or a similar role.
• 7+ years of hands‑on IT security technology experience, preferably with a global systems integrator.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISA, CRISC or CISM.
