Senior Accountant - English Required

About the role

We are looking for a highly analytical Senior Accountant to join our fast‑growing B2B SaaS company that provides modern software solutions for public transit and mobility operations. The role is fully remote and open to Colombia‑based candidates who can work in English and have experience with U.S. accounting processes.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and support full‑cycle financial statements and month‑end/year‑end close.
• Produce monthly financial reports, variance analysis and maintain balance‑sheet reconciliations.
• Manage accruals, prepaids, intercompany activity and other month‑end entries.
• Handle revenue recognition for SaaS subscription, usage‑based and contract‑based billing models, including deferred revenue and unbilled accounts receivable.
• Review profit & loss accounts for proper coding, allocations and classification.
• Partner with internal teams to resolve revenue, billing or reporting discrepancies.

Required profile

• Professional accounting experience with U.S. GAAP, financial reporting and month‑end close.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently in a fast‑paced remote environment.
• Experience in SaaS, technology or subscription‑based businesses is highly preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, organization and a focus on process improvement.
