Senior Accountant

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Accountant to join our finance team in Bogota. Reporting to the Business Controller, you will ensure accurate and compliant financial reporting while providing timely insights that support strategic business decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Control and reconcile accounts, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and bank accounts.
• Record financial transactions in line with internal policies and external standards.
• Prepare accounting reports and schedules for internal and external reporting, covering consolidation, cash flow, and budgeting.
• Support cost accounting and budgeting activities, including allocation of direct and indirect costs and variance analysis.
• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and credit/collections to maintain accurate cash flow.
• Collaborate with finance colleagues and other business units to improve processes and strengthen controls.

Required profile

• Experience in accounting or financial control with solid understanding of general ledger, reconciliations, and financial statements.
• Knowledge of relevant accounting standards and local regulatory requirements.
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to communicate financial information clearly to non‑specialists.
• Organized, accurate, and curious about improving processes and learning new tools.

• Experience using reporting tools to generate financial insights.
