Senior Accountant – Remote (Colombia)

About the role

The company, a fast‑growing B2B SaaS provider for public transit and mobility, is looking for a Senior Accountant to strengthen its finance function. This remote, Colombia‑based position supports full‑cycle accounting, financial reporting, and revenue recognition for a subscription‑based business model.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and support full‑cycle financial statements and monthly financial reports.
• Lead month‑end and year‑end close processes, including balance‑sheet reconciliations, accruals, prepaids and intercompany entries.
• Conduct variance analysis against departmental budgets and identify financial trends.
• Manage revenue recognition for SaaS, usage‑based and contract‑based billing models, including deferred revenue and unbilled accounts receivable.
• Partner with internal teams to resolve billing, revenue and reporting discrepancies.

Required profile

• Proven experience with U.S. accounting processes, financial reporting and month‑end close.
• Background in SaaS, technology or subscription‑based businesses is highly preferred.
• Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail and ability to work independently in a remote environment.
