Senior Accountant – Revenue & Financial Reporting

About the role

Mastercard is seeking a Senior Accountant to lead revenue accounting and financial reporting for its Global Business Services Center. The role ensures accurate recording, reconciliation and timely reporting of revenue, supporting both day‑to‑day operations and future M&A integrations.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly journal entries in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
• Monitor accounting for agreements to ensure compliance with Mastercard policies and procedures.
• Perform balance‑sheet account reconciliations and manage the Blackline reconciliation system.
• Deliver management reporting, variance analysis and ad‑hoc financial analysis.
• Support SOX testing, internal and external audits and respond to audit requests.
• Represent GBSC on cross‑functional projects, identify process improvements and implement action plans.
• Provide first‑level revenue customer service and resolve processing issues with internal teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• CPA and/or MBA preferred.
• Prior experience in revenue accounting or related finance functions.
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and revenue management processes.

• Blackline reconciliation tool.
