Senior Accounting Manager - U.S. Accounting Operations

About the role

A staffing firm is recruiting a Senior Accounting Manager to join its client's team in Colombia, working Monday to Friday. The role covers the full accounting cycle, financial analysis and supervision of accounting teams, within U.S. accounting operations. Salary is negotiable based on experience.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full accounting cycle, reconciliations, financial statements and month-end close.
• Lead financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting and cash flow management.
• Oversee accounts receivable, accounts payable, billing, payroll reconciliation and bank payment runs.
• Analyze staffing profitability, including bill rates, pay rates, gross margins, overtime, payroll taxes and workers' compensation.
• Supervise accounting teams, assign responsibilities, monitor performance and ensure accurate, timely deliverables.
• Work with accounting and payroll systems and apply U.S. GAAP to support U.S. accounting operations.

Required profile

• Staffing industry experience is highly preferred.
• Experience supporting acquisitions is a plus.
• Proactive, analytical and self-driven, able to work independently and take ownership.

Required skills

• Strong Excel skills.
• U.S. GAAP knowledge.
