Senior AI/ML Engineer

About the role

The Senior AI/ML Engineer will lead the design, productionization, and operation of advanced machine learning systems that power enterprise applications at scale. This role bridges data science and software engineering, ensuring AI solutions are reliable, secure, and aligned with business goals.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and develop complex ML models, including predictive, prescriptive, deep learning, and ensemble approaches.
• Design and operate enterprise‑scale feature platforms using Snowpark Feature Store, establishing standards for versioning and governance.
• Build and optimize model training, inference, and serving infrastructure, defining SLAs and deployment strategies.
• Create evaluation frameworks with golden datasets, A/B testing, drift detection, and fairness monitoring.
• Integrate ML solutions across Snowflake‑native platforms and AWS cloud services, defining enterprise AI architecture.
• Establish MLOps, Responsible AI, governance, monitoring, privacy, security, and compliance standards.
• Mentor junior and mid‑level engineers through architecture and code reviews.

Required profile

• 8+ years of AI/ML engineering experience with multiple production systems.
• Proven track record of leading end‑to‑end ML initiatives from architecture to deployment.
• Experience in regulated industries (e.g., financial services, healthcare, energy) is a plus.
• Strong collaboration skills with data architects, software engineers, product managers, and business stakeholders.
