About the role

As a Senior Android Engineer at Sparq, you will shape mobile experiences for millions of airline passengers, turning complex travel journeys into seamless, innovative Android applications.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and enhance Android applications using Kotlin and Java, following MVVM/MVC patterns.
• Integrate RESTful APIs, Room/SQLite offline storage, and third‑party SDKs.
• Address technical debt, ensure performance, security, and high‑quality user experience.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional and client engineering teams in an agile, remote environment.
• Participate in code reviews, knowledge sharing, and mentor junior developers.

Required profile

• 5+ years of native Android development experience.
• Self‑motivated, able to manage work in dynamic, changing‑priority settings.
• Strong communication and collaborative problem‑solving skills.
• Experience working in agile teams and mentoring junior engineers.
