Senior Data Integration Engineer

About the role

EPAM is seeking a Senior Data Integration Engineer to build production data models and semantic layers that support business analytics and AI agents across Snowflake Cortex and Snowflake Intelligence.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain production data models in dbt and Snowflake for account health, engagement velocity, and customer intent.
• Combine structured and unstructured data (Gong transcripts, emails, Salesforce objects, product telemetry) into clean account‑level dimensions.
• Establish consistent modeling patterns, naming conventions, and metric definitions across GTM datasets.
• Develop and maintain an enterprise semantic layer to ensure consistent metric calculations.
• Prepare context‑rich datasets for Snowflake Cortex, Snowflake Intelligence, and internal AI agents.
• Design feature tables and context stores powering LLM agents for automated meeting preparation and account research.
• Manage metadata, data enrichment, governance, RBAC, and audit trails for sensitive sales pipeline data.
• Partner with Revenue Operations and governance teams to document data lineage and dataset ownership.

Required profile

• 3+ years of commercial experience in analytics engineering, data engineering, or data architecture.
• Proficiency in advanced SQL, including window functions, CTEs, complex joins, and query optimization.
• 3+ years of production dbt experience with modular project structure, Jinja macros, custom tests, incremental models, and snapshots.
• Hands‑on experience with Snowflake, including warehouse sizing, clustering keys, Time Travel, zero‑copy cloning, and access control.
• Experience modeling B2B SaaS revenue and interaction data (Salesforce, Gong, Marketo, subscription billing).
• Understanding of Kimball dimensional modeling and semantic layer design.
• Daily comfort with Git workflows, branching strategies, code reviews, and CI test runs.
