Senior Data Project Manager

About the role

Perficient is seeking a highly technical Senior Data Project Manager to lead enterprise‑scale data and analytics initiatives. The role involves end‑to‑end delivery of data programs, coordinating technical teams, and aligning stakeholders to drive measurable business outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead delivery of large‑scale data and analytics programs, owning roadmaps, backlogs and prioritisation.
• Drive Agile, Waterfall or hybrid delivery, run ceremonies, optimise sprint planning and use Jira and Azure DevOps for tracking.
• Collaborate with data engineering to deliver scalable solutions on modern data stacks.
• Manage data quality, validation, SLAs and governance across complex pipelines.
• Translate business requirements into data deliverables that impact revenue, cost optimisation and decision‑making.
• Define and monitor delivery and data performance metrics, reporting risks and mitigation plans.

Required profile

• Extensive experience managing data programs, pipelines and BI ecosystems.
• Proven ability to lead technical teams and coordinate cross‑functional dependencies.
• Comfort operating in environments with high data complexity and evolving requirements.
• Strong communication skills to align stakeholders and present data‑driven insights.
