Senior DevOps Engineer (Azure)

About the role

You will design, enhance, and operate Azure‑based cloud platforms that enable client delivery, modernization, and cloud‑native initiatives. The role focuses on building reliable, secure, and scalable environments while driving operational efficiency and business outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Design and operate Azure infrastructure using Entra ID, RBAC, Virtual Network, compute, storage, API, container, and security services.
• Improve reliability, scalability, security, cost efficiency, and delivery speed through automation and cloud‑native practices.
• Collaborate with architects, developers, SREs, platform engineers, and client stakeholders to deliver practical Azure solutions.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins or similar tools.
• Operate Kubernetes workloads in AKS or vanilla clusters, using Helm charts and troubleshoot production issues.
• Automate infrastructure and configuration with Terraform, ARM, Bicep, Ansible, Chef, Puppet, SaltStack, Python, PowerShell or Bash.
• Implement observability, logging, metrics, and alerts using Azure Monitor, Prometheus, Grafana, Elasticsearch or similar platforms.
• Support modernization, migration, hybrid cloud, and AI/ML‑enabled solution initiatives.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience as a DevOps, SRE, or platform engineer delivering cloud‑based solutions.
• Strong background in Linux and Windows administration, networking (TCP/UDP, DNS, HTTPS, TLS) and distributed troubleshooting.
• Clear communication and teamwork skills; experience with AI‑based products or ML teams is a plus.

• Kubernetes (AKS or vanilla), Helm charts, production workload operations.
• Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, ARM, Bicep, Ansible, Chef, Puppet, SaltStack.
• Observability tools: Azure Monitor, Prometheus, Grafana, Elasticsearch.
• Scripting: Python, PowerShell, Bash (optional: TypeScript, Node.js, Go).
