Senior DevOps Engineer – Bogotá

About the role

We are a fast‑growing fintech company seeking a Senior Infrastructure / DevOps Engineer to lead the design, deployment, automation and continuous improvement of our mission‑critical infrastructure in Bogotá.

Key responsibilities

• Architect, deploy and manage highly available infrastructure environments, targeting 99.98% uptime.
• Design and execute Kubernetes projects, including cloud‑to‑on‑premises migrations.
• Drive infrastructure automation using IaC and configuration‑management tools.
• Lead incident response, root‑cause analysis and service‑improvement initiatives.
• Implement monitoring, observability and alerting across the technology stack.
• Collaborate with Development, Engineering and Operations teams to ensure infrastructure excellence.
• Provide technical leadership, mentoring and knowledge sharing.
• Ensure security, compliance and operational resilience in all environments.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science or related field.
• 7–10 years of experience in Infrastructure, DevOps, Systems Engineering or Software Development.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Leadership and mentoring mindset with excellent communication skills.
• Ownership, accountability and a continuous‑improvement orientation.
• Ability to perform effectively in mission‑critical environments.
