Senior DevOps Engineer – Cloud & Automation

About the role

We are looking for a senior DevOps Engineer to design, build, and operate scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS and Google Cloud. You will drive automation, improve reliability, and support rapid software delivery across multiple development teams.

Key responsibilities

• Architect, implement and maintain highly available, secure cloud environments on AWS and GCP.
• Build and enhance CI/CD pipelines using industry‑standard tools.
• Deploy, manage and troubleshoot containerized workloads with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Develop Infrastructure as Code with Terraform and ensure version‑controlled provisioning.
• Automate provisioning, configuration and deployment using Bash, Python or similar scripting.
• Implement monitoring, logging and alerting; perform root‑cause analysis of production incidents.
• Optimize performance, scalability, cost and security of cloud resources.
• Collaborate with engineering, QA, security and product teams to streamline releases.
• Define and enforce security best practices, backup, disaster recovery and compliance.
• Evaluate and introduce new DevOps tools and cloud services.
• Create and maintain documentation, runbooks and disaster‑recovery procedures.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote DevOps standards.

Required profile

• 5+ years of hands‑on experience in DevOps, platform engineering or SRE.
• Strong expertise in both AWS and Google Cloud Platform.
• Proven ability to design, automate and operate large‑scale cloud infrastructure.

Required skills

• AWS services: EKS, EC2, VPC, IAM, ELB/ALB, Route 53, CloudWatch, Auto Scaling, S3, RDS, Secrets Manager, CloudTrail.
• GCP services: GKE, Compute Engine, VPC, IAM, Cloud Load Balancing, Cloud Monitoring.
• Containerization: Docker, Kubernetes.
• Infrastructure as Code: Terraform.
• Scripting: Bash, Python.
• CI/CD pipeline tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub Actions).
