Senior Finance Manager – Corporate, Vision Care & Surgical Vision

About the role

The Senior Finance Manager will lead the Controllership and Financial Management (CFM) agenda for Corporate, Vision Care Americas and Surgical Vision Global from Bogotá. This high‑visibility position ensures accurate financial reporting, end‑to‑end close execution and provides actionable insights to senior finance leaders.

Key responsibilities

• Own controllership of actuals for the assigned portfolio, ensuring US GAAP‑compliant, timely and decision‑ready reporting.
• Lead end‑to‑end close governance, including pre‑close readiness, trial balance review, cash‑flow analysis, risk assessment and final sign‑off.
• Translate financial results into clear insights for CFOs, Finance Directors and business leaders, highlighting risks, opportunities and recommended actions.
• Partner with Global Services Finance, Tax, Treasury, Compliance and audit teams to maintain a strong control environment and SOX compliance.
• Drive simplification, automation and digital enablement across the portfolio, shaping future‑state finance organization.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field; MBA or postgraduate degree preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of progressive finance experience with deep controllership and reporting expertise.
• At least 5 years of people‑leadership experience building high‑performing finance teams.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP; practical exposure to IFRS or local GAAP is a plus.
