Senior Front-End Engineer (Next.js/React) - Real Estate

About the role

A real estate company founded and designed for the marketplace of tomorrow is hiring a frontend-leaning software engineer for its product team. The engineering team is rooted in backend architecture, so it needs a browser-first specialist who can turn complex data into seamless, elegant interfaces. The position is fully remote.

Key responsibilities

• Develop the frontend for the client's core platforms, meeting the brand's high aesthetic standards.
• Take full ownership of CSS, layout and responsive design, keeping applications fluid, performant and visually polished.
• Work closely with a backend-heavy team to integrate APIs and data models into an intuitive frontend experience.
• Build and maintain a scalable, reusable UI library for rapid feature iteration across Next.js and SvelteKit environments.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, with a strong focus on frontend development.
• Proven experience building complex, responsive web applications from scratch.
• Strong communication skills; the candidate will be the primary advocate for frontend excellence on the client's team.
• Comfortable working across the stack when needed (Node.js, APIs, PostgreSQL).

Required skills

• Expert-level proficiency in React, Next.js and TypeScript.
• Mastery of HTML5, CSS3 and TypeScript.
