Senior Full-Stack Developer (Java)

About the role

SD Solutions, a global staffing company, is recruiting on behalf of an AdTech client for a Senior Full-Stack Engineer Developer to join its engineering team. The role has a strong focus on Java and covers end-to-end development, platform infrastructure and mentoring.

Key responsibilities

• Influence the architecture team and act as a key decision-maker in adopting new technologies for the company.
• Own the end-to-end development process, from design to production, and improve the platform infrastructure.
• Contribute to shaping and developing products, including the implementation of a microservices system.
• Lead and mentor other developers on complex projects affecting the core business.
• Research core technologies and integrations with external APIs and third-party services, and solve ongoing issues.

Required profile

• 7+ years of experience developing complex enterprise web applications and distributed systems in production.
• Demonstrated leadership skills and a strong "can-do" attitude with good interpersonal skills.
• A self-starter who can work independently and multitask, and is passionate about learning new technologies.
• BSc in Computer Science or equivalent.

Required skills

• Deep understanding of Java, including Spring Boot and Spring (a must).
• Web systems architecture design and implementation.
• Relational and non-relational databases: MySQL, Elasticsearch, Redis, Vertica.
• Modern UI frameworks: Angular, Vue, React (a must).
