Senior Full-Stack Engineer (Go+Angular)

About the role

Newfire Global Partners is seeking a Senior Full‑Stack Engineer to design and build a next‑generation clinical technology platform that powers healthcare data and operations. The role focuses on creating scalable, high‑performance solutions using Go and Angular to improve care management and decision‑making for millions of patients.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain efficient, reusable Go and JavaScript/TypeScript code for both backend and frontend components.
• Build and expose RESTful Web APIs, ensuring high reliability and performance.
• Identify and resolve bottlenecks, bugs, and performance issues across the stack.
• Drive code quality through automated testing (unit, integration, performance, security) and continuous integration practices.
• Collaborate with Agile teams using Scrum ceremonies such as sprints, stand‑ups, retrospectives, and planning.
• Participate in hiring processes by serving on interview panels for future engineering roles.

Required profile

• 6+ years of hands‑on experience developing web‑based front‑end and back‑end applications.
• 3+ years of professional experience with Go (Golang) and related router libraries (e.g., Gorilla Mux, Chi).
• Strong understanding of concurrency, goroutines, and micro‑services architecture.
• Proficiency in system design, data structures, and relational/NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, and MongoDB.
• Extensive experience with Angular 2+ and modern TypeScript‑based front‑end development.
• Demonstrated ability to create and consume RESTful APIs and to write comprehensive unit and integration tests.
• Experience working in Agile environments and using Git for source control.
