Senior .NET Full Stack Developer - C# / Angular

About the role

CGI, a global IT and business consulting firm, is looking for an experienced Senior .NET Full Stack Developer to join its Payment Integrity team in Bogotá, Colombia. This on-site engineering role involves designing, developing and maintaining secure, scalable enterprise healthcare applications with C#.NET, ASP.NET Core, Angular, TypeScript and SQL Server, while contributing to technical architecture, application modernization and engineering best practices.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, enhance and maintain enterprise applications and build responsive, secure frontends, RESTful APIs, backend services and data integration components.
• Develop and optimize SQL Server databases, stored procedures and queries, using Entity Framework Core or similar ORMs.
• Contribute to solution architecture, technical design and cloud integration, applying SOLID principles and secure coding standards.
• Lead code reviews, troubleshoot issues, optimize performance and mentor junior and mid-level developers.
• Write and maintain unit, integration, API and automated regression tests.
• Use AI-assisted tools such as GitHub Copilot and Gemini Code Assist, validating their outputs.
• Collaborate with architects, business analysts, QA engineers and distributed teams, and support Agile activities like sprint planning and backlog refinement.
• Promote security, observability, logging, monitoring and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong hands-on expertise in C#.NET, ASP.NET Core, Web API and object-oriented programming.
• Experience building modern web apps with Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML and CSS.
• Advanced knowledge of SQL Server, relational database design, SQL optimization and Entity Framework Core.
• Proven experience with RESTful APIs, backend services and enterprise components.
• Understanding of software architecture, design patterns, SOLID principles and performance optimization.
• Experience with Git, automated testing, debugging and Agile/Scrum environments.
• Ability to work on-site at the Bogotá office; a bachelor's degree is preferred.
