Senior Project Coordinator

About the role

The Senior Project Coordinator will support the Transition Management Office at Scotia GBS, ensuring that large‑scale projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget. This role bridges business, technology and operational teams to execute transition initiatives across multiple countries.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, schedule and allocate resources for complex projects, developing detailed project plans and timelines.
• Monitor progress against objectives, conduct financial reviews and report status, risks and issues to senior management.
• Facilitate and chair project meetings and committees, ensuring clear decision‑making and consensus.
• Maintain project documentation, benefit models and consolidated project plans that integrate business, technology and operational aspects.
• Identify dependencies, risks and regulatory impacts, recommending corrective actions and mitigation plans.
• Collaborate with finance partners to track project benefits and financial performance.
• Negotiate scope, recommendations and project directions with stakeholders.
• Lead the implementation phase, resolving unstructured problems and ensuring alignment with overall business goals.
