Senior Systems Cloud Engineer

About the role

The Senior Systems Cloud Engineer will administer and support client operating system environments, ensuring high availability and performance while driving automation and solution design.

Key responsibilities

• Design and define operating runbooks and coach junior engineers.
• Provide L2 troubleshooting for datacenter operations, WAN/LAN connectivity, and security.
• Manage ticket queues, conduct root cause analysis, and maintain device performance.
• Deploy, maintain, and lead cloud and on‑premises data‑center solutions.
• Support client migrations, complex projects, and sales solution opportunities.
• Produce monthly analytics reports on team performance and capacity.

Required profile

• 6+ years of experience in systems engineering, cloud environments, and virtualization.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT or equivalent experience.
• Participation in a 24x7 on‑call rotation.

Required skills

• Microsoft Server OS, MS Entra ID, Windows Server 2012+.
• Linux distributions (Red Hat, Amazon Linux, CentOS).
• Virtualization and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS).
• Scripting languages: PowerShell, VBScript, BAT, Shell, Python.
• Networking protocols: DNS, HTTP, LDAP, SMTP, SNMP.
• ITIL knowledge and certifications (ITIL 4 Foundations).
• Azure Administrator or higher, AWS SysOps or higher.
