Senior Systems Engineer – Cloud & Infrastructure

About the role

Auxis is expanding its Cloud & Infrastructure Operations team and seeks a Senior Systems Engineer to lead the design, automation, and support of complex enterprise server environments across hybrid cloud ecosystems. You will be responsible for creating operational runbooks, handling L2/L3 incidents, and mentoring junior engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Lead cloud and on‑premises datacenter operations, deployments, and client migrations.
• Design, document, and execute operating runbooks and automated server procedures.
• Provide L2/L3 escalated troubleshooting for Linux and Windows Server environments.
• Mentor junior engineers and deliver technical training.
• Manage incident queues, conduct root‑cause analysis, and produce monthly analytics reports.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 years of experience in systems engineering, virtualization, and hybrid cloud environments.
• Advanced proficiency with Linux (RedHat, Amazon Linux, CentOS) and Windows Server 2012+.
• Strong knowledge of MS Entra ID, Active Directory, and network protocols (DNS, LDAP, SMTP, SNMP).
• Professional English (B2+) and willingness to participate in a 24 × 7 on‑call rotation.
• Relevant certifications: Azure Administrator (or higher), AWS SysOps (or higher), ITIL 4 Foundations.
