Senior Tax Analyst - Reporting

About the role

Diageo is hiring a Senior Tax Analyst for its LAC Tax Reporting function in Bogota. The role supports accurate and timely delivery of Latin America and Caribbean tax reporting, including current and deferred tax, tax provisions, PYA, OTP, account reconciliations and related internal controls. It contributes to transforming the LAC Tax function through process standardization, automation, data analytics and the responsible use of AI.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and support current and deferred tax calculations, provisions and reporting for LAC entities
• Review and reconcile PYA, P09, P12, OTP and other Group tax reporting requirements
• Analyze return-to-report reconciliations and maintain deferred tax schedules and account reconciliations
• Support month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing and perform analytical reviews of tax balances
• Review compliance with internal controls and support internal and external audits
• Collaborate with Financial Control, Statutory Reporting, Tax Compliance, Tax Business Partners and Global Tax teams
• Design and maintain automation solutions using Python, Power BI, Power Query and other approved tools, and build dashboards for tax data visibility
• Use AI and data analytics to reduce manual work and strengthen controls, and support other LAC Tax Compliance towers when needed

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting or a related discipline; CPA or equivalent is a plus
• Approximately 3-5 years of experience in tax, tax reporting, accounting or financial reporting
• Experience with tax accounting, current and deferred tax, financial close, balance sheet reconciliations and corporate tax reporting
• English at B2 level or above
• Proven ability to work autonomously, manage multiple deadlines and collaborate across functions

Required skills

• Advanced Excel and Power Query, and strong Power BI and data visualization
• Python for data analysis and process automation
• ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle or similar
• Hands-on experience with automation, data analytics and AI tools
