Senior Technical Instructional Designer

About the role

CSG is looking for a Senior Technical Instructional Designer to create on-demand, video-based, instructor-led, virtual instructor-led and blended learning courses and programs for its CSG Forte software solutions. The programs serve CSG Forte employees as well as merchant and partner customers. The position is remote, based in Colombia.

Key responsibilities

• Review technical documentation and existing course materials and interview subject matter experts to develop instructional materials.
• Work with end users to define business procedures and with SMEs to collect and interpret information.
• Update training materials according to CSG quality and document control requirements.
• Deliver train-the-trainer programs for CSG Forte staff and job-specific trainers.
• Build relationships with stakeholders, develop product knowledge and gather feedback on product enhancements and learning content.
• Design, develop and deliver web content, user guides, end-user training materials and blended learning solutions.
• Maintain the accuracy of all documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 3-5 years of experience developing on-demand, instructor-led, virtual instructor-led and blended learning courses and large-scale education programs.
• 3-5 years of experience applying ADDIE/SAM or other instructional design methodologies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, and expert technical writing and editing skills.
• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines and work in a team.
• English fluency in a business environment.

Required skills

• E-learning authoring tools such as Articulate 360 or Adobe Captivate.
• Video development and editing tools such as Adobe Premiere or Camtasia.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Documentation layout and design skills are a plus.
