Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) – Cloud Operations

About the role

We are seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to join our cloud operations team, responsible for designing, building and operating the cloud infrastructure that powers our SaaS solution. The role focuses on automation, reliability, security and cost efficiency across AWS environments.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and operate cloud infrastructure at scale.
• Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) across environments.
• Deploy and operate workloads on container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes/EKS.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
• Manage and optimise relational and non‑relational databases.
• Define and execute cloud cost‑optimization strategies.
• Ensure system health, performance and reliability through monitoring and observability.
• Automate infrastructure and operational tasks using scripting and modern tooling.
• Apply cloud security, compliance, governance and cost‑accountability best practices.
• Collaborate with internal and external teams to troubleshoot and evolve workloads.
• Provide incident response, on‑call support and post‑incident analysis.
• Perform infrastructure maintenance, change management, patching and upgrades.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in SRE, DevOps or Cloud Engineering.
• Hands‑on experience with core AWS services (compute, networking, IAM, storage, databases, security).
• Proficiency with IaC tools such as Terraform or Pulumi.
• Experience with Kubernetes (preferably EKS) and Docker.
• Solid background in CI/CD platforms (Bitbucket Pipelines, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, AWS CodePipeline, CircleCI, ArgoCD, Spinnaker).
• Strong knowledge of version control (Git) and artifact repositories (AWS CodeArtifact, JFrog Artifactory).
• Familiarity with monitoring stacks (Grafana, Prometheus, Loki, Alertmanager, InfluxDB, ELK).
• Basic knowledge of relational and non‑relational databases (MongoDB, MySQL, PostgreSQL).
• Proficiency in at least one scripting/programming language (Python, Bash, Go).
• Advanced English communication skills.
• Experience with collaboration tools (Jira, Confluence).
