Site Reliability Engineer (SRE)

About the role

We are looking for a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to ensure the availability, stability, and scalability of our critical technology platforms in Colombia. You will work closely with development and operations teams to automate processes, monitor systems, and respond to incidents.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and improve the reliability of production services.
• Automate repetitive tasks using Python or Bash scripts.
• Design, deploy, and manage Kubernetes clusters and container workloads.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices.
• Monitor system health, set up observability tools, and lead incident response.
• Plan capacity, ensure high‑availability architecture, and execute system recovery procedures.
• Use Infrastructure as Code to provision and manage cloud resources.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience as an SRE, DevOps Engineer, Cloud Engineer, or a similar role.
• Strong Linux administration and troubleshooting skills.
• Proficiency in automation with Python or Bash.
• Hands‑on experience with Kubernetes and container technologies.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps methodologies.
• Experience in monitoring, observability, and incident response.
• Knowledge of high‑availability, scalability, capacity planning, and system recovery.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code.
• OpenStack experience is a strong plus.
