About the role
Arrive is looking for a Software Engineer to work on both legacy and new software projects, helping modernize the platform and build new microservices. The role involves cloud‑native development, API design, and collaboration within an agile Scrum team.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain and upgrade legacy systems while developing new features.
- Design, build, and deploy microservices using Golang or Java.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and manage deployments.
- Integrate data storage solutions such as SQL databases, key‑value stores, and blob stores.
Required profile
- 4+ years of software engineering experience.
- Strong problem‑solving mindset and commitment to code quality.
- Ability to work collaboratively in an agile environment.
Required skills
- Golang and/or Java programming.
- Unit testing and scalable application design.
- Relational databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL).
- Microservices architecture and RESTful API development.
- CI/CD tools (CircleCI, GitHub Actions).
- Kubernetes, Docker, Kafka, and observability tools (Datadog, Grafana, Humio) – a plus.
